“Indian army”…………How much you know about the magnificent army of your country, about your soldiers who are the real heroes of the nation, who protect you day and night from the dreadful bombards of your enemies?

When we all celebrate Holi, Diwali, Pongal, Eid, Christmas with all pomp and show throughout the country, these brave souls safeguard us on borders. You will be amazed to know that Siachen Glacier which is the highest battlefield in the world is controlled by Indian army, its a place where one could not even breathe properly. Now, you can imagine, through how much hard training these soldiers undergo and continue to fight their whole tenure in the LOVE of their NATION!

A soldier is not created he is born like that, from the noblest of wombs!

I know every Indian is proud of their army but we have to consider this fact also that most of us ignore the important news about them because of some or the other reason. Just being proud of them is not enough.

Like they are always ready to be on duty when it comes to the protection of their nation, we also have a duty towards them.  To pray for them when they are on the borders risking their lives selflessly, to know about them and do whatever we could because they deserve much more than that.

Do you know about the upcoming event of Indian army? Its 15 January, i.e the day which is celebrated as the Army Day of India in the remembrance of Field Marshal K.M Cariappa’s taking over as the first Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army from General Sir Francis Butcher, the last British Commander-in-Chief of India, on 15 January 1949.

This post is dedicated to the audacious superheroes of our country where I am going to share the most heroic quotes said by some of our lionhearted soldiers ever!
